The Right to be Heard...
Connie Schultz - with copy to letters to the editors
The child is the victim without doing anything. It is an innocent victim without a voice to be heard. And about one half of these victims were potential mothers to be whose right to choose is ignored.
Connie Schultz says a mother has the right to choose aborting her baby
because it is the mother's body carrying the child. But, that goes both ways. However, the child has no choice in the matter but to accept their destiny. It is obvious that the child did not choose to be a victim. It is understood, that child would choose to survive if their voice was heard. There are three parties in a pregnancy not just one. The primary right to life belongs to the child in the womb. In most spiritual traditions since the beginning of time, the child exists for eternity in both matter and form and not even an abortion can stop this from happening. Deny life begins at conception and call it what you will, but the reality of life begins at conception.
Abortion threads through the whole fabric of our society and so there should be no holier than thou response to the situation. Society should respond with all that it has to help and support both the mother and the child. So far, we have failed this crucial test while both sides keep debating with millions of lives being lost . -- Ray Tapajna
