Time to talk about the right to life again

Looks like the right to life issue has taken a back seat in the 2010 elections in the USA. There is also a sad part to it for several of the Democrats politicians in Congress who are pro life. They got caught voting for President Obama's health care program after President Obama issued an executive order that there would be no federal funding for abortion in the bill. The pro-life movement do not believe this means much and it is just a play on words. It is true that an executive order can be changed easily by the next president or even President Obama during his term. An executive order is just that and it can be changed easily by just another executive order. The right to life groups are doing everything to stop these Democrats from being elected. It is a sad happening especially after President Bush's pre-emptive wars killed so many innocent people.
One of my favorite Democrat Congress person is Representative Marcy Kaptur and she voted for the health care bill noting the executive order. She and other pro life Democrats who voted for the bill are now facing a strong challenge by pro life groups. It is sad because the pro choice Democrats seem to not care if the pro life Democrats lose their elections. It is a sad state of affairs. It makes you think about all of the elements involved. It also reminds me of what happened when President Obama received and honorary degree from Notre Dame University. This too was a sad day for those of us who believe in the right to life for all and in human dignity for all.
I have not voted for either major parties candidate for years since I vote for the Constitution Party candidates and for years I just put my home made sign on my front lawn saying - VOTE RIGHT TO LIFE.
However there is a Republican candidate this year running for a new County Council position who is a strong right to life candidate. I put up his signs on the front lawn instead of the old sign.
The right to life is really about human dignity too and abortion affects all levels of human dignity since life itself is degraded through by abortion and especially when only one or two persons in the Supreme Court control the outcome of Roe versus Wade. That by itself should be considered a travesty in any democratic society. The decision was based on legally not knowing when life begins with this also degrading the legal system. Today, no matter what position you hold, we know much more legally about when life begins but this is ignored as life babies are being terminated outside the womb.
We have covered this issue for a long time. See Is abortion also a social economic geopolitcal issue too LINK] Here you will see an ongoing count of how many babies are perishing within a given period of time. We also have one of our first published letters from 1992 and others from 2003 when pro choice writers were comparing it to capital punishment and victims of war.
Here is part of that site about abortion also being a social geopolitical economic issue that affects us all in so many different ways. As an advocate for human dignity in the workday, I see how abortion affects our country's response to using products made by wage slave and even child labor. There is actually hardly any response and many say it is only human nature to shop for the cheapest price without considering how the price came about.
What if we lost 40 million Americans in a war. Most likely we would have contingency plans invoked to cover this loss. Abortion pulls out a main pillar supporting our whole stucture. It is like pulling out a main support of a suspension bridge. Immigration has filled the void somewhat but it came in an uncontrollable fashion as we have a vast aging population maturing now. We lost a generation through abortion to support the vast aging population along with the rest of our entitlement culture. If an innocent third party are dismissed as non-entities, what will we do with all the aged when the numbers become too great for us to handle. It is bad enough that we have exported much of our value added economy that supported our entitlement society that cared for those who no longer can care for themselves but now also have to deal with power making it right to take out Americans who do not have the power to fend for themselves from the first moment of conception to a person's last breath.
I see hints of these tendencies across the board in the way we now experience many things in a survival of the fittest fashion. I suspect future generations will just couple us with the holocaust when they try to find answers to why we did the things we did regarding abortion.
Again here is our site where you can view a ticking clock as one baby after another is terminated with the every tick of the clock. It also represents the destruction of human dignity too across the board
