..........We live in the Bewildered New World as a result of out of control forces who thought they could install an order of things based on human values outside any external supernatural ideals.
We have what is called Globalization and it is supposedly about bringing the people of the world together - but everything seems to be divided and more fragile than ever. It seems that human nature was put on trial as economies switch from making things to economies based on making money on money.
We have what is called free trade and this is supposedly about spreading the rewards of working more evenly - but it is not- In the U.S. a new working poor class has been created with an unreported underclass living in an unreported silent depression. Only the food banks tell the stories of suffering. As things get worst we find that shoppers have to shop for imported goods as they shop their way out of more jobs. The fact that they are living off wage slave and even child labor is put aside as the practical things in life take precedence.
The elder President Bush was the first in modern times to proclaim the new world order. Nothing was really defined and many conspiracy theories took over. He designed free trade as we know it today and President Clinton followed and implemented it deep into our culture. President Clinton proclaimed prosperity while millions were losing their jobs in the most massive dislocation of jobs in history. He declared free trade a success story even as he rushed billions of dollars to Mexico to save the peso and the Mexican economy. This came after more than 4,000 U.S. factories had been moved to Mexico. Ten Mexican Bishops and others in Central American called the NAFTA tade agreement cultural death.

Hidden away someplace was philsophy and religion which seemingly did not know how to cope with the new world of disorder. President Bush, the 2nd, came and said that Jesus was his favorite philosopher which was really a contradiction of terms since the study of philosophy is based on the study of being as being and Jesus proclaimed He was all being. Bush the 2nd, then instigated a pre-emptive war that displayed shock and awe bombings of innocent people. This hid the economic crisis for years.
President Obama followed and the threachery of Middle East wars continue in a globalist setting that was supposed to stop events like this. However, nations found that they must protect their interests across the world in a new kind of colonialism.
Jacque Martain told the world years ago that the world's trend toward barbarism is passing before our eyes at an accelerated speed.
Philosophy should have been there to tell us whether true humanism answers any of the real questions of our times. It should have been there to help stop the forces of degradation and disintegration. It did not. We are now in another dark period of history were human dignity is sacrificed at the altar of greed.
A main problem of our world today is its dualism and the dissociation between the things of God and the things of the world. The social, economic and political life is based on carnal law and it is a life becoming more unlivable in a Bewildered New World with only a few definitions left to live by.
Even some of our best Jesuit Universities are backing the lost worlds in the globalist free trader Flat World.
