Art Money - A money standard

January 24th 2009 21:00
See Ray Tapajna's article about supporting art as money for transactions.

This is a very interesting concept and has alot to do with the value of workers dignity and the value of labor. It is using art for transactions. It is called Art Money. Our art is certified as BIAM ( Bank of International Art Money in Copenhagen Denmark ) in their standard format and value.

With our economies based on making money on money instead of making things burning out, we need to find ways to fill the voids. Printing images on paper and calling it money requires many manipulations of transactions to give this paper a value since the gold standard was voided. In the process we find money products taking over the value of work itself and actually competing with the value of labor.

Paper money is actually a intangible value. This value is created. It has no real money standard backing it.

The value of workers and labor are a tangible value and probably the most important asset left in the world. It acts as a money standard too.

The economies based on making money on money instead of making things conflict with the value of work especially when it severely deflates this value in a global economic arena.
Free Trade depends on consumers having sufficient funds to support both national and global economies. When these funds are radically cut my workers being traded on a global block to compete with one another for the same jobs for the sake of cheaper and cheaper labor, the money products get tangled in a world of confused efforts.

A new working poor class has been created in the USA which has supported global free trade for the most part with the Trade Deficit breaking records continously. Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, also exposed a vast underclass living in a silent depression. This underclass resides in major cities across the USA. These populations are finding it more and more difficult to afford the cheaper imports.

Abroad, the impoverished workers who are making the goods for the American consumers, do not make enough to buy the very things they make, let alone have anything left over to buy whatever the USA has left to sell.

With this as a background, the art money concept should not be that strange. Actually the concept is much clearer compared to many money products.

See Support Art Money Concept - Art Money Concept MainSite
and an example at Bizarre Politics site showing our certified Clinton Years art money

This art money also can gain value as a collectible automatically and quickly depending on the artist that signs it with each piece being signed.

Art Money represents a way to raise the standard of workers dignity and the value of labor in a sustaining fashion.
